Integra WA Hub (“WAHub”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a business messaging platform provided by INTEGRA for medical laboratories, healthcare providers, and service organizations. WAHub helps our clients send and receive WhatsApp messages, deliver medical result documents, view delivery status, and manage communication with their own patients or customers.
Information We Process
- WhatsApp phone numbers and WhatsApp IDs
- Message content sent or received through WhatsApp
- Medical result documents or other files sent by the client
- Message delivery statuses, timestamps, and webhook events
- Contact names or profile names provided by WhatsApp
- System logs required for delivery, troubleshooting, and security
How We Use Information
- Sending WhatsApp messages and document notifications
- Receiving inbound WhatsApp replies
- Routing messages to the correct client account or installation
- Displaying message history, delivery status, and worklists
- Troubleshooting delivery or integration issues
- Protecting the security and reliability of the service
We do not sell personal data. We do not use WhatsApp message data for advertising. We do not share client or patient data with third parties except when required to provide the service, comply with law, or protect the security of the platform.
Client Responsibility
Our clients are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper permission or legal basis to send WhatsApp messages and documents to their patients or customers. Clients are also responsible for the accuracy and content of the documents and messages they send through WAHub.
Data Storage and Security
WAHub stores operational data in secure client-specific databases or systems. Each client environment is separated from other client environments. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
WhatsApp and Meta Platform Data
WAHub integrates with the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta. WhatsApp and Meta may process data according to their own terms and privacy policies. WAHub uses Meta Platform Data only to provide messaging, routing, delivery status, and support functions for our clients.
Data Retention
Data is retained only as long as needed to provide the service, support client operations, comply with legal obligations, or resolve technical issues. Clients may request deletion of operational message data where appropriate and legally permitted.
User Rights
Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of their personal data. Requests related to patient or customer data should usually be directed first to the healthcare provider or organization that sent the message. We will assist our clients in responding to valid requests where required.
International Processing
WAHub, Meta, and related infrastructure providers may process data in different countries. We take reasonable steps to ensure that data is handled securely and in accordance with applicable requirements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
